Voice of people is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established by Mr. MD Khan, the contemporary state secretary of the Indian Youth Congress and an advocate at the Madras High Court. It started in 2021, amid the pandemic to aid the suffering families, initially, in Chennai and then spread expeditiously in the whole state of Tamil Nadu, South India.

“It is disheartening that there are so many people crushed by destitution or circumstances to a point when helplessness shatters them, they are deprived of hope. I’ve always felt a robust ambition to aid these humans and be their powerful voice when they are unable to speak for themselves. I discerned the implication of words by Helen Keller –
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
I hence laid the foundation of ‘VOICE OF PEOPLE’ in 2021 amid the grip of a pandemic to release the needy from the restraints of social afflictions.
The objective of this NGO is to gather like-minded people and build a powerful community to alleviate those whose lives are blackened by poverty, abuse an infringement of fundamental human rights, carry out programs to empower women, educate the needy, enable the power of youth and work for the comprehensive moral and social evolution, and substantial welfare of society.
